6 Lists To Simplify Your Life

I love lists! They free my mind up to think on other things. These are 6 lists I find that really simplify my life.

  1. Master shopping lists from stores you frequent. For me, this is a Costco list. I keep this list in Evernote and it’s easy to see the things I regularly purchase so I can check my home to see if I need them before I leave for the store. I will also use the frequently purchased items list on my Walmart app to jog my memory on things I might be out of. I love having my groceries delivered! If you’re interested in trying Walmart+, use THIS link to save $20.

  2. Packing lists. I have a few different packing lists. One is just a regular one of things I need pretty much every time we travel. Here are some others I have.

    • Camp packing lists

    • Cruise

    • Vacation

  3. Meal list. These are meals my family frequently enjoys. It makes it so much easier to meal plan when you have a list to quickly remind you of meals you enjoy. You can make this as simple or as complicated as you like. You can save links or categorize it into sections or just make a simple running list of meals. This Master Meal List is the building block for my new course Meal Planning 101. If you’ve ever struggled with meal planning, I highly recommend you check it out!

  4. Gift ideas. I have 2 of these. One is an Amazon list. These are those cool things I see that I know I don’t need, but they are fun or beautiful and would make a great gift when I need to look for one. The other list is in my notes on my phone. I may see something and think, my mom (or sister, husband, or daughter) would love this. Or maybe you’re in a conversation and hear a loved one mention something they would like to have. Make a note of it! If I have a link I’ll even include that in my note. When birthdays or Christmas roll around, I am thankful for this list!

  5. Paint colors. This list has been so helpful! I wish I would have started it when we first bought our house. Thankfully I have had this list for about 5 years now. I keep this list in Evernote so I can access it anywhere I am at. I make a note of the brand, type (flat, eggshell, etc.), color name, and number. If I have a photo of the barcode on the top of the paint can I will include that.

  6. Book lists. This is a list of books I’ve read and books I want to read. I keep this updated regularly and add to it when I’m recommended a book from someone.

These are lists that will take no time for you to keep on your phone whether it’s in your notes, Evernote, or Google Drive. But these will save you a lot of time and mental energy!
