Join me on this journey to create margin for the good things in life.

Hey there! My name is Shelley, and I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. I have trouble saying no when I feel like I can help. I am passionate about organization and structure in my life. Coffee is my love language. My very favorite place to be is in my home with my people; my husband, teenage son, and four-year-old daughter. We live in Metro Atlanta, where we are church planters. My cup runneth over, and my plate is full.

I have always loved all things about organization and productivity. But so many times, I read books or blogs and felt like I should be doing more even though my plate was already so full. Around 2017, my plate was overflowing. And not in an I-am-so-blessed way. But in an I’m-going-to-die-young-of-a-heart-attack way. I knew something had to change. So I started adding one thing at a time to my day. I began using my planner every day, getting up early every day, and taking my vitamins every single day. These little steps helped me to feel like I was more in control. But it wasn’t enough. Fast forward another year, and I wasn’t in a great place. The overwhelm was back. That is when I came across minimalism. I have never been one to hold on to things. But it just seemed that things were adding up. So I started getting rid of stuff and felt immense freedom. But don’t worry, this isn’t about asking you only to have four plates and two forks. I have a vast Starbucks coffee mug collection from all over the world, and there is no way I’m parting with that. But I began to think about each of the things that were taking up space in my life.

Fast forward six more months, and I read Micheal Hyatt’s “Free To Focus.” Life. Changed. It’s not about doing more. It is about doing what is essential to add FREEDOM to your life. Yes! FREEDOM! Margin. Ahhhh, the relief began there and has continued. I am so passionate about helping my friends and family find that margin.

I invite you to come along with me on this quest to create margin in our lives for the good things. I promise you won’t regret it.
