Simple Tips for Gift Wrapping
It’s Christmas time! I love a beautifully wrapped gift, but you know I’m keeping it simple. These are my gift wrap tips!
First, what supplies will you need? (I have links for each of these. I tried to find exactly what I own or something very similar.)
I grabbed a little bin and I keep all of my supplies together so I am ready to wrap whenever I purchase a present. (I already had THIS bin on hand.)
THESE are the scissors I have. I also have THIS little wrapping paper cutter that makes life easy.
Of course you need a good TAPE dispenser.
I love a good, simple, wrapping paper. THIS roll will last you for a very long time!
I purchased THIS satin ribbon set for this year and I am loving it!
Next, I find it is best to wrap my gifts as they arrive at my house. So I have set up a little place that works for wrapping. For me, this is my dresser in my closet. For you, it might be your dining table.
When I wrap, I keep the edges as crisp as possible with pressing the seams down with my fingernail.
In the above video, you can see how I wrap the ribbon around the package to give it that classic look.
Gift wrap doesn’t have to be stressful. If I have the items on hand and keep up with it as I go, I find it so much easier! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas full of margin for the good things!
