2021 Christmas Gift Guide

The Christmas season is here! Yes, I am a minimalist. But also, yes, I enjoy giving gifts that I believe the recipient will enjoy and use! Here are a few of my favorite things. Hopefully this will help make your Christmas shopping a little easier.

Let’s get started:

First of all, experiences win over anything else (in my book.) Ideas for this gift include one time passes or memberships to places like the zoo, a museum, a play, a favorite restaurant, a spa, an online class, a cooking class… the list is truly endless!

Of course, one of my favorite gifts is a Full Focus Planner. I would recommend this gift for college students all the way to your grandparents. And, the Full Focus Store has given me a code that will give you 10% off your order! Use this link and the code SHELLEY10

FULL FOCUS PLANNER

For your organized friend:

LABEL MAKER - This is my favorite label maker. It’s so convenient and connects to an app on my phone. I use this for home, work, and church projects every week!

SHARPIE PENS - These are my favorite pens. I love new pens and I would love to receive these as a gift.

SHARPIE PEN MARKERS

OXO POP TOP SET - These kitchen organizers would also make a great gift!

For your productive friend:

EMBER MUG - I don’t personally have one of these, but especially my friends who work at a desk all day love this mug that keep their coffee hot.

ONYX COFFEE BEANS - And I don’t want to fail to mention my favorite coffee beans. Our current favorite is Southern Weather. I love good coffee, but my husband is a researcher (Enneagram 5) and these are roasted in a special way that makes them the best!

COLORING BOOK - This gift may seem odd, but at a recent work event we had coloring sheets and things to do while we were brainstorming and it really helped me to think clearly. You also might want to add a good pack of COLORED PENCILS.

PHONE HOLDER - My husband loves this one for his car. This holds your phone in place when you’re driving.

SHIPT MEMBERSHIP - This is a grocery delivery service that has saved me countless hours. In my area, Target is available for delivery. I love that I can get a pair of tights and a loaf of bread all delivered to my door. Plus, this saves me time and money. Yes, money. I know I spend far less when I’m sticking to my list rather than browsing the Target aisles!

For your homebody friend:

DIFFUSER - I have some really expensive diffusers, but we also have this one and it works great! It has the option to have a night light or not.

GLASS SPRAY BOTTLE - Whether you use DIY cleaning products or use store bought, these glass bottles look beautiful and work great!

PAJAMAS - I was gifted these pajamas last year and let me tell you. I wear them every time they are clean. I have washed and dried them a hundred times and they didn’t shrink (like SO many do) and they still feel amazing! (NOTE: These say nursing and maternity, but they’re just crazy soft and I highly recommend them and I’m neither nursing or expecting.)

For your fun friend:

These are some of our favorite games!

CATAN - This is a fun game of strategy. We started playing this as a family when my son was around 12. (Note: If you want to play with more than 4 people you will need the EXPANSION PACK.)

PHASE 10 - Always a fun game that we break out when I’m with my extended family.

TICKET TO RIDE (this is on my list, but so many of you said it’s a family favorite!)

For the kids:

MINNO SUBSCRIPTION - This is the only app I have on my daughter’s device that I don’t have to closely monitor. This is full of her favorites such as all the Veggie Tales. With all of the craziness I have seen with unmentionable things being added to kids’ shows and movies lately, it’s exhausting as a mom. This is worth every penny.

WOODEN PUZZLE - I love these sets. My 5 year old still loves wooden puzzles.

ART KITS - Yeah, these kits can be messy. But this is what I consider a consumable gift. My daughter will spend an hour or more making things with a kit like this.

For the teen in your life:

Food gift cards (my son loves getting these to his favorite over-priced burger place)

Playstation gift cards - Or really whatever gaming platform your teen is in to. These can buy new games or upgrade current games. And they take up zero space. Win-win!

HEADPHONES - These are on my son’s Christmas list. He has done his research and says these are the best.

Grandparent/Parent Idea:

PHOTO FRAME - My husband’s grandmother has this frame and it has an email address attached to it. All we have to do is email a photo and it automatically is added to her photo rotation. She loves this and it’s an easy way for us to send her photos of the kids for her to see what is happening in our lives. She tells me often that she loves the photos!

For the men in your life:

These are some things my husband sent me that he either loves or wants. (I think he was sending some hints!)

NICE PEN - Every man needs a good pen. And this one is a great price.

NICE NOTEBOOK - And of course somewhere to write with that good pen.

ONE LINE A DAY JOURNAL - My husband and I both have this journal and I plan to start using it regally in 2022. This would make a great gift!

Book Recommendations:

FREE TO FOCUS - I recommend this to everyone!

These are my husband’s recommendations:

For the leader: The Leadership Challenge

For the husband: Crucial Conversations

For the dad: Rejection Proof

Audible subscription - My entire family enjoys this subscription.

I love giving the perfect gift for Christmas! I hope this helps you finish that Christmas list!
